design and capability of the dust collection system.
The engineers at Dewalt must have been on vacation when
this was approved. As for the performance of the sander
if you keep the belt in alignment it does a great job
of sanding. But be aware this is not a lightweight
sander. I have owned mine for four years, the dust
collection system and weight is primary reasons I am

 | | | DeWalt makes some good tools but belt sanders are not
one of them, the dust collection port is terribly small
and it definitely eats belts like that was what it was
made to do. Also, the instructions for using it are so
confusing and took me a long time to figure out. Go
